These popular one-day workshops are held at Cranleigh Arts Centre (a beautiful old building dating from 1847). Anna will demonstrate her techniques from composition, to colour mixing and layering. The days will be relaxed and fun and are aimed at developing your confidence with watercolour. Each workshop features an exercise that Anna will demonstrate step-by-step for you to have a go at, as well as your free choice of subject to really develop your skills. With a limit of 11 students, they will be tailored to your specific needs and are suitable for all levels of ability.
Please bring your own painting equipment. A full list of recommended paints, paper and brushes will be supplied. A selection of seasonal plant material to paint will also be provided but please bring along any specimens you are particularly interested in painting. Please be aware that if you are booked on to other 2 or 3 day classes with Anna there is a chance you may find yourself tackling the same subjects so please check in advance if that’s a problem.
